Ugh. Nothing much going on lately. I need a new job with more money. I stopped taking my antidepressants. For good, I think. So far it's been okay.
I'll be spending the day today with Michael (my boyfriend), which I am looking forward to. We'll have lunch with my mom, then see a movie then probably go to some art galleries and I'm sure we'll end up at a bar somewhere later tonight. Yeehaw!
Roy's family isn't using their timeshare this year, so it has been offered to us to use as we please. Initially we had wanted to go to México D.F., but there are no hotels available. Surprising for December. Or maybe not, I'm not too familiar with México. But now we're planning on a trip to New York. It will be cold, but neither Roy or I care too much about that. I can't wait. Ive always wanted to go, and there is an excellent chance we'll be able to stay at the Waldorf Astoria. If not there then the New York Hilton. Also, we're probably going to take the helicopter from Newark to Midtown Manhattan, which should be so awesome that I might shit all over myself mid flight. Pray that I don't.
Originally, before DF, we had wanted to go to Buenos Aires, but December is high season there and the plane tickets would have been very expensive. We also toyed with the idea (for all of ten minutes) of going somewhere tropical and laying on the beach for a week, but alas, Roy and I are explorers at heart and the beach thing isn't really for us.
Things on my must see list:
MoMA
Philip Johnson Estate (in CT)
South Bronx
The Dakota
There's more, but I don't want to think too much right now.

raison d'etre

Well an entire fucking week after the hurricane we finally have power again. I missed you, internet. We were very fortunate not to have had any damages or injuries. Living in the dark is actually kind of fun when you get used to it. But I am certainly glad to be able to look at porn again.

sad
I'm scurred
hehehe

Well in case you live under a rock on mars, you've probably heard of the massive fucking hurricane that is headed straight for Houston. I'm not too worried. In fact, I'm looking forward to our little hurricane party tonight at my house. I should be nice and lit when Ike strikes.
Oh, and I got to cut up a bunch of wood with a chainsaw this morning.
